For my second post I just had to blog about the Seattle Space Needle. How could I not, right? Built for the World Fair and completed in 1961, it stands 605 feet tall. Although it is very tall, it’s center of gravity is just 5′ making it very stable and able to withstand eath quakes and wind speeds of up to 200 mph!

What a great construction! It is one of a kind and it fits to Seattle. If the climate would be different in Seattle I would at once move there. Surely I will be back for a visit.
